Places to take your dog

Beaches
Newborough Sands, Anglesey – always plenty of sand, even when the tide is in. In the high season part of the beach does not allow dogs but you can walk for miles along the beach towards the Menai Straights. ( Go towards the beach from the car park and turn left once you are onto the sands). Also miles of forest tracks.
Red Wharf Bay, Anglesey - Miles of sand at low tide, very little walking at high tide
Dinas Dinlle, near Caernarfon – lots of sand at low tide put only pebbles to walk on at high tide. Part of the beach does not allow dogs in summer.

Forest walk;- Beddgelert forest – lots of forest tracks, Ian will tell you the way to the lake.

River walk – Aberglasyn – beautiful walk through the gorge, watch out sometimes the sheep find there way down there.

Parc Dudley - Parc Dudley Local Nature Reserve is a mixed woodland. The reserve is located on the A4085 approx 1½ miles from the campsite.Located on the lower part of the reserve is a small circular walk near the car park and picnic area. There is also a 1 kilometre circular path around the rest of the woodland, which in some parts is rather steep, and can be wet under foot at certain times of the year. (But it is a good place to let the dogs have a run.)
