I use to scan the notes left by campers and then put them on this site but they were taking a long time to download so I have started to type them up. ( Due to my slow typing speed I have not yet typed up all the notes I have recieved - but I'm working on it) They have been typed up in the random order I picked them up.
Every one of these notes are genuine, and unedited. I will keep a book of the originals as they mean a lot to me so if you want to check my claim you can do so.
Any replies or comments we have made are in black capital letters.

A fab, nice and peaceful site - everybody is so friendly. The facilities
are excellent ( especially the hot showers - lovely after a day in the hills!!)
The tray of T and biccys on arrival at 10.30pm was much appreciated after
a horrible drive up!! Thank you!

A wonderful welcome on a perfect site. Thank you for

the weather for us (though you
claimed you couldn't) but just don't change anything, not the facilities, the

Lovely, peaceful site and so well looked after. I loved
the extras in the facilities - paper towels and bath mats, plenty of hooks
and space to put
clothes out of range of the shower. Picnic tables very nice to have. Kept
very clean - the benefits of a small site. Lovely welcome with the lemonade
and thank you so much for the birthday cakes!!! Also good to have soap,
cloths and washing up liquid and bowl supplied. Shall really miss all this
on the next site. I think you have spoilt us....

What a brilliant site! All facilities were much better
than other sites we had encountered. Everything was clean and nice touches
such as washing up liquid and shower gel etc. If we were being nit-picky
it was sometimes difficult to stop the showers being too hot and occasionally
the dishwashing water was too cool! Will be writing rave reviews on UK
campsite but are concerned if reviews are too good will have problems re-booking!

Ian and Marion thank you both for providing such a
good friendly, affordable campsite within this beautiful area. We enjoyed
ourselves thoroughly. The wash rooms are great for people like us who don't
wish to shower everyday. Only suggestion - which is way beyond expectation
- would be to provide paper to put into wet boots. Good luck to you both.

Really lovely campsite, friendly people. Except ...
the showers, they get dangerously!! hot. Then filling freezing and drips.
Not good for someone with long hair. Apart from that we had a fantastic
stay!!!

YOU HAD THIS PROBLEM - IT TOOK US A WHILE TO FIND THE FAULT AS IT ONLY
HAPPENED AT VERY BUSY TIMES. WE HAVE NOW HAD A NEW WATER PIPE LAID
TO THE CAMPERS BLOCK BRINGING A GREATER WATER
FLOW TO THE SHOWERS AND ALSO HAVE HAD
THE SHOWERS REPLACED WITH NEW SHOWERS THAT HAVE AN ANTI SCALD DEVICE.
Very nice place. Will be back.

We had a wonderful time here at your campsite! You were very friendly and
helpful and the warm welcome including the coffee and cookies was really
surprising! Thanks again for borrowing your detailed map, very handy.
The campsite is quiet and clean and really nice
hot showers! The only thing we missed is some kind of breakfast service. I
don't really know how to solve this. Maybe you can buy those baguettes that
you need to 'bake off' in your own oven and the guests can order it the day
before so you know how many baguettes you need? It is just an idea...Well thank
you very much for the stay and keep going like this!

THE VAST MAJORITY OF CAMPERS ARE VERY GOOD. UNFORTUNALY IN THIS INSTANCE WE
DID NOT REALISLE THERE WAS A PROBLEM UNTIL LATE IN THE EVENING.
What a beautiful place!!! We stopped here for three
nights and it was superb! The small friendly atmosphere of the place gives
it charm to go with its beauty! The facilities were ample and clean, this
campsite is clearly well looked after. Thanks also for the drink and biscuits
on arrival.

We had a lovely stay, thank you very much. The welcome tea and coffee was
a nice touch and much appreciated. It also made us feel very welcome.
It is a nice friendly site, facilities are clean. The little garage area

parking ) catch train to Rhyd Ddu £2.15 single ( 9.55 am ) walk up Rhyd
Ddu path to summit and back down the Snowdon Ranger path. Fantastic walk.
